My grandma's houses

Took these two pictures today just to remember two wonderful women.

My new haircut

You know you got a hair cut when your own dad doesn't even realize its you for a good five minutes. But I am thankful to say that when Chloe came home from school and saw my hair the first thing out of her mouth was... 'I still love you even thuo your hair is short!" I think she meant it as a good thing but just didn't sound that way.

Back to school!

This was not my picture of the day it was Scott's but it out weighted my picture I took by far in excitement. And he gets points for thinking to take it. Today at about 10 til 4 I said to Scott I can't believe Gavin isn't home yet I hope Mr. Zell didn't forget to stop at our house (which he does) . So we waited until 4:00 and I called my neighbor and she said her boys weren't home either so Scott decided to head down the road to make sure everything was OK and this is what he found. What is hard to see from the picture is that if the bus had slid any more it would have rolled down a steep hill and things would have been really bad. As it turned out everyone was fine.

Last day of Christmas break!

I took this picture of my kids eating at Arby with only one drink and they shared their fries. My mom and dad took Gavin out for his birthday since they will be in FL for his birthday and he was so excited that he got his own big drink and fries. I always share the drink and fries between me and the kids. I never knew it was that big of a deal until then.

Christmas at Aunt Dar's house

I have to admit this picture is horrible but I had just gotten a call from my mom that my grandma had passes away so today was one of those just get a picture in and I didn't give any thought to it. In spite of my life changing news we did have a great time.

Big girls and little girls scrappin'

We scrapped at the south branch library and Chloe wanted to go so bad. After spending the night with hemi-charger papaw - Scott brought her around 1 or 2 and her and Mya had a great time. And the big girls had fun too. Krista had left before I thought to get a photo - sorry Krista!!

My office before

I bought new book shelves for my office so this is the before picture I took. And as soon as I have the shelves organized the way I want them I will post the after picture.

Sugar cookies from scratch

Jan. 1 Making sugar cookies from scratch - something I don't usually do. Chloe got a cook book from the library so I tried it. And the kids loved it and made great shapes with the cookies cutters.
