Book Buddy!

This is Chloe's book buddy from pre-k. It is a stuffed animal in a bag with 3 books that go along with that toy. She gets a new one very week - well that is if we remember to return the one we have.

First Tournament as a yellow belt

Well for his first tournament in the new group, Gavin did great. He got a 3rd in Kata and 1st in Sparing. Great job Bubby!

Not our first choice

After karate we thought we would head south and go to bounce world, but they weren't open until much later. So we felt like we owed the kids something fun so we went over to good old CC. I was happy while they were there, I got to visit Archiver's and pick up some necessities.

I was in a mood today so this my 'make me happy' snack. Didn't work but it sure did taste good. Salt and cracked pepper pop corn.

Make a clock!

This project was send home with Chloe from preschool. She decorated the clock and then helped me put it together. Pink and purple or course... are there any other colors???

Chloe was so excited to get a trophy for soccer. After seeing Gavin get countless awards from karate it was a big deal to her.

The girls came over to Chloe's house today after pre-K. When they got in my van they asked "Where is your DVD player???" I said with a sad look ... I am sorry girls I don't have one. And the look on their face was priceless. Maybe someday!

2nd grade Spring Musical

This is a group of the kids in the spring musical. Gavin will be doing a comedy act (one joke) in a
Ron White style (you know the clean version of him).

Landforms

Gavin had a project to create landforms (i.e. mountains, valley, ocean, river, hills, and plains). We used playdoh, egg cartons, moonsand, plastic cups, paint and glue and he really enjoyed doing it on his second day out of school sick.

I shouldn't have said that!

Well, last Monday while we are at the doctor for Chloe and her strep - he said 'If Gavin gets it just call in and we can get you a scrip called in without a visit.' And I said you know my kids don't ever seem to give each other strep.... famous last words!! Now Gavin has it a week later.

How low can you go?

We went skating today and one of Chloe's friends were there also. They had a great time doing the limbo!
