Gavin had his first tournament of 2009 and did really well. He got a 1st in Kata and a 2nd in Kumite. Good job! That night at the 2008 state banquet he received a 2nd in Kata, 3rd in Chanbara, and 4th in Kumite. Not too shabby for his first year competing.
